How does Reframe block my apps?

Reframe uses Apple’s built-in Screen Time controls. The first time you turn on blocking, iOS asks for Screen Time permission — tap Allow, then pick the apps you want to put behind a reframe.

Is granting Screen Time access safe?

Yes. Everything happens on your device. Apple doesn’t share which apps you block with us, and Reframe has no servers and collects no data. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I unlock an app?

When you open a blocked app, Reframe shows a negative thought. Reframe it into an empowered “I” statement and tap “I reframed it.” The app then opens.

Can I make it stricter or gentler?

Yes — in the app’s settings, choose Gentle (one reframe, skippable), Firm (one reframe, no skip), or Hard (three reframes).

An app re-locked while I was still using it

That’s intentional. Each reframe unlocks the app for a focus window, then it locks again so the habit sticks. Apple sets a 15-minute minimum on this window, so “every time” re-locks 15 minutes after each unlock.

How do I change which apps are blocked?

Open Reframe, go to the blocking settings, and tap to add or remove apps from your list at any time.

How much does Reframe cost?

Reframe is free.
